West central missouri | Every environment is different and those in NE, Dakotas, etc telling a Missourian how to handle mud makes about as much sense as me explaining to a Canadian how to winter cows. April calving pretty much gets away from the mud, but then you are trying to get cows bred when it is 95 degrees and 95% humidity. And that doesn't work very well. Mud kills a smaller percent of newborns than summer calving as well. | |
