tedbear - 3/23/2020 09:50 Ag Leader provides constant power on Pin A. The system connects Pin B to ground to activate the Clutch to STOP planting. In other words they don't switch the power as one might expect. Other systems may provide constant ground and switch power which would seem reasonable. Part of the reason they do this is so the system can check for 12V on Pin B at initial startup and through the day. Since the clutch consists of a coil which is really just a really long piece of wire, 12V will be present on Pin B if a clutch is present. Ag Leader checks all the potential clutch locations to determine is a clutch is attached. It compares what it finds with the configuration and gives an error message if there is not an exact match as far as the correct number and location of the clutches. I believe the Deere Clutches are polarity sensitive and may require the opposite polarity. The adapters shown above handle any polarity issue and allow the Deere connectors to mate with the Ag Leader harness. You would need one for each clutch.

To be cheap, which is what I did is cut off the WP connector and put on a Deutsch.  Placing the pins in the proper position.
