The things I see shaking out of this mess is cow and bulllplants are now shopping for beef. That’s brand new and I don’t remember the last time that happened. We need to pressure our congressmen to close the borders to imported beef to support producers. Let the packers grind all those front shoulders instead of opening the flood gate to imports. There is an immediate need for beef. We can’t have much influence in the price of fats but we can quit taking killers in for awhile. Might be some positive impact. Meanwhile in our community, if you know anyone that is hungry or financially stressed, give them some beef. It’s healthy. | |
