NorthWest Mississippi
Spray the grass with a strong rate of R-Up in a little water, give it time to work, kill that grass, roots and all or you will be dealing with it all year.Spray an area bigger than you plan your garden to be or it will encroach over the summer.Till it up.Trifluralin is a good pre emerge for most things grown in a garden..I would consult an extension publication for chemicals that are labeled as a pre for the crops I was planning on planting.
