Southeast WI | Is help me design my starter trial to take it to the next level of understanding so we can learn. Theory is great as it helps the conversation along to learn, however we learn nothing from theories if they aren't tested. Correct?
So what are the hidden things we should test? I'm getting responses from my treatments. If you look at N "as starter" it makes corn look green but does not help yield. What is missing is the P and K in starter. That fits your theory that something is missing. So where do we want to go on the rest of these? What do we change work test for?
I'm not quite sure where the comment "starter appears to not work on your farm" comes from. Did I read that right? Over the past decade if we have a full, long season starter has minimal effect. Go short on heat units and starter has a big yield impact. | |
