You won’t get good seed spacing since you won’t know what seeds will germ vs ones that don’t. Might have 7 in a row that grow then 2 plants skipped. On soybeans I wouldn’t be scared, but I would want better corn then what that tests at. The key to growing good corn is having everything as consistent as possible. 85% germ isn’t going to give the consistent spacing I want.
