mercer county, il | Take the chain and drive wheel off the pump, the changing flow and pump pulses with the speed will have the regulating valve in the rate controller running nonstop.
Just plumb in a hydraulic pump, I’m not familiar with Deere controllers but I would do swath control if available.
We have 1 bar that still has a ground drive, as long as you keep the rate within reason it is very accurate, if you check it. Paint a stripe on the tire, and on the pump sprocket. Have someone count revolutions, and have someone figure your distance to revolutions. Get a chart for the pump (John blue has them on thier website last I knew).
If it’s a 40’ bar, and the pump puts out 1gal per 100’ off the revolution chart.
40x100=4000 ft2, or .918 of an acre, do the math from there and adjust pump accordingly
Either use a flow divider (impellicone), or we use check valves and appropriately sized injection nozzles on each tip off of a boom type system.
