| Vet prescribed 3 cc of Zactran for some 40 day old calves treating pneumonia. I gave the shots per the hand written instructions on the bottle IM.
Reading last night about the product, information says give the shot Sub Q. 7-10 days of therapeutic levels.
My concern is for the longevity of the drug when given IM vs Sub Q.
Should I be more concerned about potential need to retreat? | |
