Subject: Rawson vs Deere vrd

West Central MN
I recently purchased a sprayer that uses field IQ for rate and section control.

I would like to add variable rate capability to my planter and possibly strip till unit as well. Since I already have some of the field IQ components, I want to stay with that system.

Ive seen some used Rawson drives around, and also a lot of John Deere motors from planters going to electric drives.

How complicated would it be to control the Deere motors? And would they be any better than the Rawson drives?
