Central SD | Our modified was going to cost$85/ton in the yard so it prices itself out of the ration, we will feed more alfalfa and corn no big deal really. I like the modified product and if cattle were actually worth something I would still feed it. I am considering some major changes in our entire cattle operation as the current cost structure is not viable long term. One possibility is to go to a all natural program. Hopefully a more normal weather pattern is developing and things get a bit nicer on that front. | |
