Chebanse, IL.....

FWRfarm etal

No, you can't just walk in & take a test. A few weeks ago, testing (not training) was scheduled (reservations required) for IL applicators licenses at several Extension offices around the state. On Friday of last week, the IL Dept of Ag cancelled all testing, walk ins, or anything. That was it...it was done...period...over. Doors were locked, in Illinois It didn't matter whether you were going for a class, or whether you were a Commercial applicator for retest, since 1973 (me), it was done.

I've always thought it was wrong that IDOA does not have some kind of online training/testing in this day & age. But, they have never called & asked for my input. So now look what happened. To make it more difficult, the IDOA only gave certain tests at certain locations. If you wanted to take a commercial test, you might have to drive 150 mis.
