Surestart is 41.67% Acetochlor with flumetsulam 1.3% and clopyralid 4.27%

It must be the other two ingredients that do the job then.

"Maybe you should clue us in as to what is available in your area for corn pre-emergence herbicides. Then we could clue you in as to what we think will work best."

I will research the many products that have been mentioned. I will talk to chem supplier again to get input as to what they carry. Will also talk to a large corn grower whom I bought some seed corn from to get his recommendations.
