Middle TN | So what are you all using for planting prescription equations?
We have yields within fields that run from <100 up to 250 or so. The lowest yields are generally around fence rows.
Currently, I'm looking at yield/7 with a minimum of 25k and a max of 32k. Would you adjust the minimums or maximums? What about using 7 bushel per thousand seeds? I've heard some suggest 10, but that seems like pretty low pops for our area. | |
