I’ve kept her and my ewes with triplets in the jug a lot longer than I normally do. I’m planning on making a small group pen till weaning with no more than 4-5 ewes for these multiples. Thanks for the suggestions. Ill try a little more grain, i didn’t want to push it too hard but with the soyhulls in it I think I will be ok.


Did you test your alfalfa bales?
If you're over a 64% TDN - - - - I would suggest giving her (slow and easy on the increase please) all the alfalfa she wants to eat.
If you've got good stuff (see TDN number) and you feed her enough so that she can leave the stalks behind she will do even better on that than the grain - - - - guarantee that!
