Subject: RE: Agco Challengers

Good point "what is AGCO's plan", Problem is AGCO doesn't know. All the little stub nose dictator knows is destroy all things that are part of AGCO's founding and heritage. Don't doubt, the Challenger decision was not taken lightly, if it were not for a complete marketing failure, would not have been dropped! The same fate will follow Fendt, not because of the tractor - it is fabulous, but for the chaotic method of their marketing, operations and the fact you just can't trust them, in addition to being exceptionally expensive. It is flavor of the day until it's not. Just like M & M's, which one comes out of the package next? The glorious ideal (titanic) is heavily outgunned by Deere (X9) and new Claas series. How do they compete there? Considering no sieve comp. for hillsides which their best combine (Gleaner) does better than anyone else. The market requirement for this combine is driven by an stuffy arrogant CEO that is trying to settle a score with Helmut Claas using shareholder funds to satisfy his ego!
