I hear that Agco is discontinuing the 600 series tractors, is this correct? They are going to transition to Fendt and Massey I guess. Wondering if they have the same plan for the rest of the challengers. No t sure how intellengent they are, I prefer the georgian yellow over red or green/white/red. Im sure the Fendt is a good machine but the color scheme takes some getting used to.
Would bet it’s far more a decision of what their dealers end up ordering based on what their customers end up buying. I can see MT600 going simply because anyone I’ve heard of that’s driven a 1038 would buy that long before a 600. Would bet the new FT900 would be similar. I’ve been in several Fendt tractors and they are in a league of their own. Couldn’t use the old 900 as it wouldn’t do 60” tread width so was never an option. Now they do and they seem to be setting up more dealers to sell them. |
