The problem with that train of thought is that, at least what I’ve been hearing on yearlings anyway, the price to refill hasn’t come down much if at all. So you gonna sell low and buy high hoping on the come again? Not trying to be argumentative, just what I’ve been seeing. Sure can’t hedge for a profit at these prices.
That indicates people don't think the price will stay this depressed. The problem is livestock can't stay in a bin for 6 months until the price recovers and they are still eating and getting to big. |
