I remember gpa shoot the hog and cut the vein under the neck right away and caught the blood in a bowl of ice. He told me to take it to gma but to keep stirring it for blood sausage. Also loved their dry beef in those days. It was closer to jerky texture. Put that on a piece of gma warm homemade bread with butter and it don’t get much better then that.
