Buffalo IL | I don't fight cedars, but everything else. I spray brush with Tordon22k and remedy ultra at a rate of 1 oz per gallon of water of both chemicals(1oz of each chemical) plus non ionic surfactant. Try to spray all the leaf area. It's not a fast death but the Tordon22k will translocate to the roots. The only thing I can't get a good kill on is honey suckle and wild olive on a one time application. Roundup will kill them and most likely you won't have any grass growing under them anyway. I have one hedge row I built a fence along and spray the new growth of limbs with the todon/remedy mix also. I wish I had taken the whole tree line out, but it wasn't my property then.
