Not a recommendation, by the way, just an FYI for those afraid of skipping a meal.

There have been thousands of people die of starvation, so such a long term fast would definitely be something a person without lots of excess fat should even think about. But I do think it is interesting that the body can compensate so well, when the fat resources are available.
