If you read the label for Ascend it is made up of 3 different readily available plant hormones.
These hormones are used all the time by the greenhouse industry and can be bought on Ebay.
If you want to make enough Ascend for 150 acres (6 oz. / acre in-furrow rate):
1) Dissolve about 2 oz. of Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH) in 1.5 quarts of water. (makes a 1N
solution)
2) Add about 25 grams of Kinetin to this solution and stir / shake.
3) Add about 12.5 grams of Indole Butyric Acid (IBA) to the same solution and stir / shake again
4) Add about 8 grams of Gibberellic Acid (GA3) to the same solution and stir / shake again
5) Then add enough water to get the mix up to 7 gallons of total solution

I would suggest being a little careful with putting home brewed PGR's at work on a bunch of acres without doing some testing first. I will use a generic or home brew a quick as anybody but in my testing of home brews, I found its a mighty fine line between enhancing growth and causing some undesirable consequences. It's not worth it to me.

Also, the last I checked, the Ascend label does NOT specify GA3 as GBA used and there are I upwards of a 100 different strains of GBA available.

Good luck
