Maybe a bigger question for the OP is not "where are they" but rather "where is them (meaning the person OP is looking for + propective person's spouse).
If momma isn't happy, then no one is happy. Another way - family is becoming more important. Keep spouse happy - keeps your prospective manager/future successor happy and "there" with you/your operation
