Central IL | Just seemed to grow pretty slowly last year. Had a history of weed problems so we sprayed it with roundup 3 or 4 separate times during the year. Not 100% sure it was the roundup but saw an article by one of the universities alluding to lower yield after roundup treatment. Field is sandy and teste pretty poor for fertility. We hit it pretty hard with P< K, and Lime before planting but haven't retested since so low fertility may be part of or all of the slow growth problem. | |
