Carlson has it correct. To the poster that said exercise helps, maybe so, but in a situation of buying unknowns, that 's not going to cure a too small pelvis that never should have got bred, not only that but, measure them and don't pull any. A guy that doesn't measure at all gets to eventually pay for a c-section or drag off a couple dead hfs,,,why not measure? To the OP, when you get done calving before rebreed, I'd have a good cow vet measure the pelvises at this late date. Pay particular attention to the ones you've pulled, hopefully you wrote them down. They will obviously measure bigger than if they were prebreed, but here's betting you pull out a handful that should never have seen a bull. 1000 lb hfs with 60-70 lb calves, should be a cakewalk, not only that, but most are coming early, that should help even more. Post back in a few months and tell us what you do,that's how rookies on here learn,,,before and after
