MN | My father has rented this for 20+ years, owner is absentee(very) just passed away, heirs were seeking offers before the funeral. Very little if any was spent on the farm in that time in regards to maintenance or tile repair. In 2018 we had a harsh spring thaw/flood that washed a channel across the middle that in spots was too deep to cross/fix with ag equipment. Additionally there are a few acres that are so wet they haven't been cropped in several years. I presented maps, ground and drone pics etc to them last year to help take care of their land or at least adjust the lease and was basically told "no thanks" So, while they didn't hold a bidding war for annual rent, I still would not classify them as "great" to work with. | |
