We use a generic rental agreement which didn't specify an amount in this situation. It is very rare around here that a piece would get sold after inputs are locked in and before a crop is started. There is usually some advance notice to prepare accordingly. Was allowed to make multiple offers that weren't accepted. I like the average profit idea, probably not interested in the 350/ac reputation at this time.
