Can you get rid of the trees? That would be the first thing to do if you want the tile to work long term after you clean. Roto rooting might be a good way to get existing roots out. If getting rid of the trees is not an option I would just replace the short section with solid tile to eliminate problems down the road. Don't let the utilies scare you away from the digging, you just have to be careful. I dug down to and under 7000 volt REA line, no real problem. The power company sent out a man to help me find the line and then it was easy to avoid. The company doesn't want the line hit and should help you with this.
