Set up items.

Then you can have your moisture and assessments set up as discounts.

Go in an create and invoice in QB.

1. Select the item- Corn
2. Then in the quantity section list your bushels.
3. Next to Quantity is Price. List the gross price per bushel
4. Drop down a line on the invoice and select the discount- Moisture
5. Move over to the Price section next to the discount you chose and enter the total moisture discount.

When you select a sales report by item summary you can now see how many bushels you sold, and the total you “paid” in moisture loss.
