Usually we just split the field instead of splitting the planter. Last year since we were in a hurry like everyone else we split the planter. Kinda wished we hadn't, you could tell the obvious difference because one hybrid was falling apart at harvest and the other wasn't. Also one of the 2 wanted to put more corn out the back of the combine than the other one, not sure why.
