North Central Illinois		I also spread poultry litter in the spring. Usually this is in grass dominant forage stands. 3-7% organic matter, with most around 5%.

Spring killed grass/alfalfa mix with a rototiller works ok, but the sod root clumps make effective cultivation difficult.
