Ontario | The extended monitor is just like running a second screen on your home computer or laptop but it is definitely touchscreen. You can create your layout/runpages and then decide which one you want to appear on the extended monitor for on the fly work.
You can use a 4240/4640 with the Command Center but then you are dealing with having 2 sets of screens that want to run the Precision Ag applications - one has to have priority and the default is the cornerpost display in that scenario. Plus then you are working with a mix of activations/subscriptions.
If your commandcenter is already activated, then get the extended monitor. If it is not, you will need to talk to your GPS department about making sure you have the V2 server in the tractor. There was a change in Model year 2018 and any new software updates require it. You would also require it if you just had autotrac on a V1 server and wanted to add the Premium activation. | |
