South Central MN | I think as a person gets older and has been doing the same thing or similar for a majority of their life, it will be very hard to change. Most likely your body is adapted to a certain eating pattern and is really going to protest any change.
I'm 35, so can probably adapt to a change a lot quicker. Genetics probably plays a strong role too.
Not sure what happed but one day during the summer when I was high school aged I just couldn't eat cereal for breakfast anymore, just like the flick of a switch. Not sure why but since then I have to be up and moving around for a while before I care to eat anything.
During the spring and fall I guess I see scheduled mealtimes during daylight hours as a waste of time and just keep going, I'll eat something when I get home after dark... Do that enough times and it becomes very easy even during the non-busy times. I make sure to bring plenty of water with, as I don't want to deal with dehydration. | |
