Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I'm not positive but I think it has to have the auto steer unlock even to do manual guidance. Look under features to determine which unlocks yours has. The Insight has several such as auto swath, multi-product and auto steer. I had all three unlocked in my Insights when I was using them. I was using mine with a Trimble Nav II for steering. With mine, there was a menu choice whether to use guidance or not. When I moved an Insight from a tractor to the combine where the combine didn't have auto steer, I would turn Off guidance. It worked with guidance On or Off but by turning it Off, there was a bit more screen space for the map.
Even if it does work for you, it may not be all that useful. I always found it difficult to try to steer by the light bar.
