I work at a place that makes food flavorings, used to do a spray dried molasses years back. The water in the mix kettle got heated up to 180 degrees F if that gives you any idea.
Any trace of moisture and the dried powder we made would become just as sticky as tar, still remember fun times during the summer of bags stuck to the bag filler, while also stuck to the scale, and the person in the packing room also stuck to the floor mat. (By the boots, of course...) Never mind the scoop on the sample/thermometer/scoop cart, that was as good as glued to it.
