S.E. Iowa | Cover crop has flax, phecilia, faba beans, forage peas, oats, common vetch, and chickling vetch. The ground going to hay/pasture is alfalfa, medium red clover, alsike, orchard, ladino, ryegrass and timothy. We got all the black ground done but have some sand ground to do. Figuring on being able to do it real soon after a rain. In the background is the back side of my new place. It is starting to get real about owning it, working the ground, moving in getting the other place ready to sell. Closed on it 2 weeks ago. | |
