Subject: implement steering trimble fmx1000

I would like to manually steer my potato planter rear axle, Trimble has a joystick you can buy but that would cost me roughly $2000 dollars because i have to update some wiring harnesses aswell to make this work.

Has anybody ever wired up a few relays and switches to power the implement steering solenoids? it would most likely have to be wired so you don't send power into the NAV controller when steering manually.
each solenoid has 2 wires.
