I had A LOT of trouble with non-payment for my in-laws for awhile. I would call (wait 45 minutes on hold before talking to a live person) and think it was straightened out, but no payment would come and so I would call again and would be told there was no record of my call. After doing this a few times, I sent a letter by certified mail and gave them a date I needed a resolution or I wouls contact the insurance commissioner. I also stated that they should be able to listen to my previous calls because of "this call is being recorded" messages. While they did not get back yo me by the date I stated, they did within a couple weeks of it. Since then, I have not had issues, but will only communicate by certified mail in the future. There is no reason my blood pressure needs to rise over a phone call.
