northeastern Ohio | I am told that the TC5 is the same as the older designs with a rotating agitator. I do not have experience with it.
But I do have experience with the TR5 and TR7. JUNK!!!! My $300 Whirlpool finally died in 2018 after washing clothes for 19 years. I bought a TR7 and it only lasted a year and a half. I assumed that the 7 year warranty would cover me. WRONG. SQ claims that I used it commercially and therefore reduced the warranty to 3 years of parts... no labor. They covered the parts but the labor was $200 due to the fact it needed to be completely disassembled to replace the tub which cracked.
I won't buy another Speed Queen. Just because my farmer clothes are dirtier than the average consumer, does not make it commercial use. Buyer beware! | |
