Pittsburg, Kansas | It does get easier and the hunger more controlled the more a person does it. Being on a low carb diet I would think would help tremendously as on high carb the carbs are going to tend to make a person hungry a few hours after consuming them. Fat does not do that as it affects different receptors lower in the gut. The carb receptors are high in the gut right after the stomache. According to Dr Jason Fung anyone can do it on any diet, but I think it would be easiest on a low carb or no carb diet because of the satiety effect.
Once a person is fat adapted, the body store of fat supplies the energy till the next meal. It is not like a person goes without energy.
