| I came across a video that was interesting. It is about exercising and the bodies different types of muscles. There has been a lot of talk lately about insulin resistance and he very briefly mentions how exercises can increase insulin sensitivity, which is good if true, and how certain types of muscles increase the amount of energy the body uses on a daily basis, even at rest, which could be helpful for anyone wanting to lose weight.
I had known about these basic concepts before but he has a unique way of describing it that made it simple for me to understand it better than I ever have before.
I’m not sure if I agree with all of his opinions on what constitutes a healthy body but the basic principles of how the body responds to different exercises are likely sound.
