NC IA | Can't say I've ever had shakeys.
Top of my list is vintage ('90s) Breadeaux Pisa, and their buttery breadsticks. In the mid-00's the franchise forced some changes, and all was downhill. I don't know of any Breadeaux's around anywhere anymore. The closest replica is Papa Evertt's in Clear Lake, IA (formerly a Breadeaux), the breadsticks are spot on vintage Breadeaux and the pizza is pretty close.
