Yes, when I rolled my motorcycle out of the camper shell and went exploring the back country in the hills of Kentucky, it was some of the most enjoyable riding I've ever done. At that time, at least, it was like stepping back quite awhile in time too.
Eastern Ky has not changed much. Take a drive on US23 from Ashland Ky to Wise Va. Beautiful to me.
