I have not yet but been toying with just doing a master reset
as that approaches, as all the variables are saved every 24 hrs.
I'm still thinking on that one.
I went back and looked at that part of the code and I believe
the unsigned long takes care of the problem. Lots of stuff on
web about it.

There is a ton of things one can do, but at some
point it will become a power of its own.
