NW IA | Tim Noakes has a book called, "Waterlogged the Serious Problem of Overhydration in Endurance Sports"
Haven't read it but the comment section at "goodreads" is always good fun.
Brief comment, one reviewer, Benjamin Espin, had a park ranger at the Grand Canyon tell him years ago that he rarely helped anyone who was dehydrated. "Too much water, leading to salt deficit was more common."
Also looks like Noakes has no love for gatorade etal.
One review mentions that Noakes is a contrarian in the mold of Gary Taubes!
I have been told I don't drink enough so many times, looks like maybe I can drink when my body tells me to.
Looks like a pretty technical book, but plenty that would be applicable to everyday hydration principles.
