So. IL | On what the wind is doing at the moment that the trigger is pulled.
Assuming the vehicle is moving in a forward direction at 50 MPH:
If you had a 50 MPH tailwind no compensation for lead would be necessary.
If you had a 50 MPH headwind compensation for lead would be required as if you were shooting still with a 100 MPH crosswind.
If there was no wind then compensation for lead would be required as if one were shooting still with 50 MPH crosswind.
Additionally, any poacher with the slightest bit of intelligence would turn the vehicle towards the animal and close the distance before firing the shot.
