Kind of my thoughts Paul.
Some will correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't new tile allowed 179 deduction as well? Already tiled ground one can depreciate a percentage of existing tile at replacement cost, but it's on a 15 yr schedule.
Which is a better deal?
