Yes, fructose will raise your blood sugar. Fructose is a monosaccharide that is found in fruit. It's one of three monosaccharides (also glucose and galactose) that are directly absorbed into the blood during digestion. Fructose and glucose make up sucrose (table sugar). All will raise your blood sugar- glucose and sucrose will raise it more than fructose will.
