Subject: RE: Portable oxygen machine

W.C. Mo.
I have used one on a trip. They are heavy and a battery only last 2 hrs. Personally I would much rather carry the small bottles. They are lighter, smaller, and last me approx 7 hrs/bottle. I had to get a machine for a plane flight. Something about a steel bottle 10 inches long, the TSA, and airplanes do not get along. The airline only let approved brands on planes.
The best part about the portable oxygen is when flying they let you on the plane first and have people wheel you across airport terminal.
I do not remember the brand I used but it was heavy and the airline required I carry an additional battery- so I had to carry 3 -8 lb batteries for a 3.5 hr flight in addition to the 17 lb machine.

Not recommending anything but just throwing things out for you to check.
