Northern Illinois | I know John and others have said that they will fast on certain days of the week. My question is does intermittent fasting need to be planned in advance and consistent to be affective? For example it is now 9:15 in the morning and due to doing things I have not eaten breakfast. Can I just skip breakfast today even though it was not planned and skipping today (Monday) will not increase the likelihood that I will fast another day this week. Does just intermittent fasting for one day make any difference?
edit to say. I think I am asking does fasting today jumpstart a process that will have benefits beyond today.
