Pittsburg, Kansas | Some people tolerate grain better than others.
Young usually do pretty well and some people do pretty well.
But as we get older some of us just can't take the carbs (me) and some of us just can't take what is in the grains (my daughter and gluten).
An elimination diet is a good way to find out. Eat only meat and eggs for a week and see if you feel better. If you do keep eating only meat but bring one single non-meat food that you like back into the equasion. If it causes problems, there you go. If not go on to the next food.
Wife does best on mostly meat. Very few veggies. I tolerate the veggies better but not the the starchy ones (because of insulin resistance).
A person can find out if they just set their mind to it and go about it logically.
